Thats right, robots. and not only are they humanoid robots, but they're humanoid robots that serve as clothing models. I'm shocked, maybe a little dismayed. All that funding and research is going to create robot models. this robot is really pushing the uncanny valley too, it looks like something straight out of Jim Henson's workshop. As a side note, does anyone else notice that those two robots in the background look like gundams? the story doesn't really mention what their purpose is, and I doubt it's to model the year's latest mecha weaponry.
